500 Gift Cards Help with Groceries for Westchester and Putnam Residents

Working with RideConnect of Westchester and the Field Hall Foundation, the United Way of Westchester and Putnam, is providing 500 gift cards for groceries to food pantry recipients in Westchester and Putnam counties. The $25 allotments will help homebound food pantry recipients the opportunity to purchase grocery items from local supermarkets. Volunteer shoppers from RideConnect will use the gift cards on behalf of the recipients to pay for the items.

The gift cards are being distributed in Peekskill, Greenburgh, White Plains, and to some of the delivery recipients of United Way’s Emergency Food Distribution in Putnam County.
