End of Year Morse Letter

Dear Families,

Thank you for having your children participate in the Education United Afterschool Program this year. It was an incredible experience, and we are looking forward to serving more families in the community next year.

We have three opportunities that we want to make you aware of.

1. We are holding an Advisory Board meeting on Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m. via Zoom. You are encouraged to attend. Here is a link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83726335768?pwd=Isdmo8UGvAXLQVWiUCyWBFuw9fT7dd.1
2. United Way is partnering with Feeding Westchester for the Feeding United Summer Program. The program delivers free fruits and vegetables, books and activities to your home biweekly from July 10 – Aug. 21. Additionally. each school-aged child in your home received a free backpack with school supplies. The deadline to signup is July 3. 3. Finally, we are excited to share that United Way received a grant to offer students to come to the program up to four days a week in the 24-25 school year at W.L. Morse Elementary School. The official program will run from October through May. However, September, June, and Fridays may be available for a fee or if you qualify for the Child Care grant through the Department of Social Services. Gracias por hacer que sus hijos participen en el programa extracurricular de Education United este año. Fue una experiencia increíble y esperamos servir a más familias de la comunidad el próximo año.

3. Finalmente, nos complace compartir que United Way recibió una subvención para ofrecer a los estudiantes asistir al programa hasta cuatro días a la semana durante el año escolar 24-25 en W.L. Escuela Primaria Morse. El programa oficial se desarrollará de octubre a mayo. Sin embargo, septiembre, junio y los viernes pueden estar disponibles pagando una tarifa o si califica para la subvención de cuidado infantil a través del Departamento de Servicios Sociales.
