4,505 Hot Meals Delivered

through the Heroes and Homebound Hot Meals Program to the homes of seniors, immune-compromised individuals, first responders and healthcare workers.

21,296 Books and Activities

distributed to families to encourage at-home learning through our community partners, such as Camp Morty.

700 Rolls of Toilet Paper

provided to food pantry recipients during the supply shortage.

500 Gift Cards


to supermarkets given to food pantry recipients to allow them to purchase grocery staples that are currently unavailable through the food bank.

250 Healthcare Workers

and first responders received meals from UWWP while at work, including those at Westchester Medical Center, White Plains Hospital and Putnam County Hospital Center.

You can make a credit card contribution over the phone by calling our controller at 914.997.6700 x 708.

Give Stock

You can make a gift of securities directly to United Way. Please call our controller at 914.997.6700 x 708.

Give Though your Donor Advised Fund

You can make a gift through your Donor Advised Fund by requesting that a grant be made from your fund to United Way.

Give a Tax Free Gift

If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift using the charitable IRA rollover. ($100,000 maximum annually).

Honor a Loved One

You can recognize a special friend or family members by making a gift in their honor or memory.

Leave a Legacy

You can leave a legacy of your local support with a gift to United Way in your will or estate plans.

Give Guidelines To be eligible for a 2021 tax deduction:

· Checks mailed to United Way must be postmarked by December 31, 2021.
· Credit card contributions must be completed by December 31, 2021.
· Stock transfers must be completed and asset received by United Way by December 31, 2021.

Your donations are used to support the Putnam and Westchester communities.
