United Way Partners for Winter Coat and Accessories Drive
Winter is just around the corner and the United Way of Westchester and Putnam wants to make sure that families are prepared.
In partnership with the Westchester Library System, the United Way is collecting gently used or new coats, as well as new hats, gloves, and socks to distribute to those in need throughout Westchester County.
“With the support of our generous community, we can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families facing cold weather without adequate protection. You can participate in this crucial initiative by donating winter items, or spreading the word about our drive,’’ said United Way CEO Tom Gabriel.
The drive began October 1 and runs through October 21st. Donations can be dropped at participating libraries across Westchester County during regular library hours, or donate through Amazon here: Amazon Wishlist
