United Way of Westchester and Putnam, in partnership with Westchester Library System, is excited to announce our inaugural Winter Coat and Accessories Drive. As the fall and winter seasons approach, we aim to ensure that everyone in our community stays warm. We are collecting gently used or new coats, as well as new hats, gloves, and socks to distribute to those in need throughout Westchester County.
With the support of our generous community, we can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families facing cold weather without adequate protection. You can participate in this crucial initiative by donating winter items, or spreading the word about our drive.
Join us in our mission to keep our neighbors warm this winter! Your contributions will directly benefit numerous individuals in our community who are struggling to stay warm during the colder months. We welcome donations of gently used or new coats for all ages, as well as new hats, gloves, and socks.
The drive will take place from Tuesday, October 1st to Monday, October 21st. Donors can drop off their contributions at participating libraries across Westchester County during regular library hours. A comprehensive list of participating libraries and additional information about donation opportunities can be found below.
Together, we can ensure that no one in our community has to face the winter cold without proper clothing and accessories. Your generosity will bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
